Vendor-Agnostic Expertise to Help You Choose the Right Technology or Service Provider

The selection of products and services is one of the most important decisions faced by today's recruiting and HR organizations. Whether you are examining applicant tracking systems (ATS) or options for other needs such as assessment, hourly hiring management or vendor management, your decision will affect your organization's performance and bottom line for years to come.

The Newman Group gives you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you are making the most objective, highly informed decision possible, leveraging our extensive experience, proven methodology and vendor-agnostic point of view. Our expert team provides the support you need to navigate the major phases of the selection process, from defining requirements and generating RFI's to final selection.

Vital Support for Vendor Evaluation and Selection
The Newman Group provides support for critical activities in the vendor selection process, including:

  • Validating Objectives: Ensure that talent management objectives align with organizational/strategic goals.
  • Establishing the "Future State": Define future state processes and roles and responsibilities as envisioned based on objectives.
  • Identifying Choices: Research and develop a short list of vendors to consider and evaluate.
  • Developing Specifications: Establish requirements and translate them into detailed and clear specifications.
  • RFI/RFP Generation: Work with appropriate staff to create and generate a Request For Information (RFI) and/or a Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Response Management: Provide response management services and function as a primary provider contact while due diligence is conducted.
  • Demonstrations: Facilitate provider capability demonstrations.
  • Reference Check: Conduct reference checks on finalists.
  • Selection: Facilitate meetings with appropriate staff and selection team to ensure timely selection.
  • Review: Independently evaluate your organization's selection against previously established criteria.
