Mijrane Belizaire
Mijrane Belizaire is an accomplished attorney and Title IX professional with deep expertise in civil rights investigations, compliance, and training. Mijrane brings a strong legal foundation to her civil-rights work, with more than a decade of experience across litigation, administrative hearings, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining TNG, Mijrane served as the Equity & Title IX Coordinator at Delaware State University, where she led the institution’s compliance efforts, managed complex discrimination and harassment cases, coordinated formal hearings, and developed campus-wide training and policy improvements. Her earlier career includes operating a successful law practice, serving as a Helpline Attorney supporting tenants in eviction proceedings, and working as a Judicial Law Clerk and Certified Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Mijrane is known for her ability to balance compassionate engagement with rigorous legal analysis, producing thorough investigative reports and helping organizations foster respectful, inclusive, and legally compliant environments.
She holds a J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law, a B.A. from Baruch College of the City University Of New York (CUNY), and professional certifications from ATIXA in Investigation Skills and Report Writing. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
