Dan Fotoples (he/him) has been with TNG since December 2021. Prior to joining TNG, Dan served in various roles in higher education, including Title IX, Enrollment, CARE Team, Case Management, and Residence Life. Dan’s focus areas at TNG include thought leadership, curriculum development, training, regulatory analysis, and case law analysis.

Dan has extensive experience navigating the intersections of law and education. His expertise leverages both fields, focusing on compliance and Title IX. Dan draws on his multi-disciplinary expertise to create impactful, engaging content. He aims to make complex legal and compliance concepts comprehensible to industry professionals and students without a legal background. Dan seeks to synthesize relevant, practical, and actionable takeaways to help practitioners overcome the compliance and equity challenges they face in their roles.

Dan holds a B.A. in history and philosophy from John Carroll University, a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.A. in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University. He lives in Cleveland, Ohio, and his Bernese Mountain Dog, Fiona, is a frequent visitor on Zoom calls.
