Diane Wyatt, M.S., SHRM-CP, is an accomplished K-12 investigator and upper-level district leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning every level of public education. Her expertise includes Title IX and civil rights compliance, administrative investigations, labor relations, human resources, policy development, student services, and organizational risk management.

Wyatt spent her leadership career with the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida, the nation’s tenth-largest school district, where she advanced from classroom teacher to assistant principal, principal, district manager, and director. Having served at every level of the K-12 educational system, she brings a unique understanding of the operational, instructional, and compliance challenges facing classrooms, schools, district offices, and organizational leadership.

Most recently, Wyatt served as Director of Human Resource Compliance and Processes & Labor Relations, leading districtwide initiatives involving labor relations, employee investigations, Title IX compliance, policy implementation, process improvement, litigation support, and organizational compliance. She partnered closely with district legal counsel on arbitration, Office for Civil Rights matters, collective bargaining, and other complex legal proceedings while serving as the district’s Title IX litigation expert.

Previously, as Director of Safe Schools, she provided districtwide leadership for the Student Code of Conduct, behavioral threat assessment, bullying prevention and intervention, student discipline, attendance, school safety, and Title IX compliance. She also directed programs supporting students experiencing homelessness, youth in foster care, teen parents, and other vulnerable student populations.

Earlier, as principal, she oversaw the district’s Alternative Education programs, including educational services within the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) facilities and substance abuse rehabilitation programs. This experience strengthened her commitment to ensuring educational access and equitable outcomes for students facing significant academic, behavioral, legal, and social-emotional challenges.

A hallmark of Wyatt’s career has been her expertise in policy development, compliance oversight, and organizational systems improvement. She has developed, implemented, and monitored comprehensive student and employee policies, standard operating procedures, compliance monitoring systems, investigative protocols, and operational strategies that promote consistency, accountability, and effective decision-making. Known as a trusted resource for school and district leaders, Wyatt has built practical systems that strengthen organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Wyatt successfully authored five highly competitive grants funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, securing more than $5 million in federal funding to strengthen school safety, behavioral intervention, restorative practices, and mental health initiatives. She directed the implementation of each initiative and oversaw federal compliance, program evaluation, and reporting to the U.S. Department of Justice.

An accomplished trainer and speaker, Wyatt has designed and delivered large-scale professional learning for school boards, administrators, investigators, and employees on Title IX, civil rights compliance, workplace investigations, Student Code of Conduct, behavioral threat assessment, bullying prevention, policy implementation, and leadership development. Throughout her career, she has trained thousands of administrators and more than 23,000 employees annually, helping educational leaders build legally compliant systems that create safe, equitable, and supportive learning and working environments.

Wyatt earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Limestone College. She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and holds numerous ATIXA certifications focused on Title IX and Civil Rights.

Throughout her career, Wyatt has been committed to developing practical, sustainable systems that strengthen organizations, support informed decision-making, and create safe, equitable learning and working environments. Her work is grounded in the belief that effective policies, fair investigations, and consistent processes not only reduce organizational risk but also foster trust, accountability, and positive outcomes for the communities they serve.

Wyatt currently resides in Palm Beach County, Florida, with her husband of 30 years and their four dogs. She looks forward to returning to her hometown of Gaffney, South Carolina, upon completion of the custom home she designed.
