Haven Hart, Ph.D., M.Ed.

Haven Hart is Vice President for Consulting Operations at TNG with more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership, strategic planning, teaching and training, continuous improvement, program and project management, individual and organizational risk management, threat assessment, and student success.
At TNG, Hart manages the operational infrastructure and processes that support the company’s consulting services and leads the client relations team to ensure consistent, high-quality engagement that aligns with clients’ evolving needs. She also teaches NABITA and ATIXA certification courses, revises policies, and serves as an interim Title IX coordinator for higher education clients.
Hart is a career higher education professional, specializing in student affairs administration. At Auburn University, she served as Assistant Vice President for Student Development, overseeing Career Services and Cooperative Education, the Office of Accessibility, Greek Life, Health Promotion and Wellness Services, Auburn Cares, and Student Conduct. She chaired the Critical Incident Response Team and the Bias Education and Response Team and served as a member of the university’s Threat Management Team and Sexual Assault Response Team. She also coordinated the policy review process for the division of student affairs, which included the development and implementation of a new Student Code of Conduct, Student Organization Misconduct Policy, Hazing Policy, Alcohol Policy, and the Sexual Misconduct, Harassment, and Title IX Policy. Hart developed and managed the Title IX Process Advisor program and founded a community prevention coalition to promote student wellness and success.
Prior to her time at Auburn, she served as Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Coastal Carolina University, Dean of Students at Converse College, and Assistant Director of Student Life at the University of Alabama. At Coastal Carolina, an award was created in her honor to recognize the impact she had on students. She also received the Paul P. Fidler Award for academic partnerships for the state of South Carolina, the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) Region III Bob E. Leach Award for Outstanding Service to Students, the Joseph O. Nixon Award for Outstanding Chief Student Affairs Officer, and the Outstanding Student Organization Advisor at three institutions. She also received the Woman of Distinction Award at Auburn University.
Hart has an exceptional ability to drive organizational success by bringing a strategic, vision-focused, and client-centered approach to her consulting and operational work. Her leadership emphasizes systems thinking, transparency, and community impact.
Hart served as a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation reviewer and was an invited participant on the NASPA Fraternity/Sorority Life Disciplinary Process Task Force, which wrote NASPA’s Disciplinary Process for Chapters publication. She is also the former president of the South Carolina College Personnel Association, an American College Personnel Association conference committee member, an Association for Student Conduct Administration state liaison, and a faculty member for the Southern Association of College Student Affairs (SACSA)/NASPA Region III New Professionals Institute. She has been a frequent presenter for NASPA, SACSA, the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA), and the South Carolina College Personnel Association (SCCPA).
She holds a Ph.D. in Administration of Higher Education from Auburn University, where her doctoral dissertation was titled “Sorority/Fraternity Facilities: Does Type Make a Difference in the Member Experience?” She also holds two degrees from Clemson University: a B.A. in Secondary Education and an M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.
She is a certified Instructor in QPR-Suicide Prevention, Green Dot Bystander Intervention, and a LeaderShape Cluster Facilitator.
She and her husband live in Savannah, Georgia, frequently visiting their three adult children in Tennessee and North Carolina.
